I try to take fresh flowers to Mom when I have them. We have already used daffodils and irises this year so this week it was rhododendren, peonies and some sprigs of barberry for greenery.

African violet I needed a tall vase for the irises and the teapot was handy. A perfect rose. If memory serves, Teresa provided this rose bush for Daddy's garden in woods.

I needed to take chili to a pilots club dinner and my crockpot was not very presentable and I didn't have time to go out and buy a new one so I sanded a little and painted it with Appliance Paint and it looks pretty good.
