We have been unable to use the "red swing" for a couple of years because the support pole on top was cracking and unsafe, so I have been using it for a flower pot stand. So today we cut a 17ft pole from the remainder of the tree we used for bridge supports and replace the swing pole.

hey mom, i thought i had posted a comment earlier - must be out there in cyberspace! yes, that is a pretty picture and it will be nice to have the swing functional again.
